Vamps starts filming this week!

There is yet another all-star cast headed to Michigan this summer.

The feature film, Vamps, which reunites Alicia Silverstone with her Clueless director Amy Heckerling, is set to start shooting in Detroit this week.

Written and directed by Heckerling, the movie is about two beautiful vampires, Silverstone and Krysten Ritter, who are living the good life in New York until love enters the picture and each has to make a choice that will jeopardize her immortality.

Vamps also stars Sigourney Weaver, Richard Lewis, Wallace Shawn, Justin Kirk, Dan Stevens and Todd Barry.

The movie is being produced by Ben Stiller’s production company, Red Hour Films, which is also producing 30 Minutes or Less, the movie starring Jesse Eisenberg that is currently filming in Grand Rapids, MI.
